Before and After
Paintless Dent Repair Photos by Type of Damage
This dent repair before and after gallery brings our paintless dent repair photos together in one place. The side by side pairs show the same panel twice, first with the damage and then once the metal is back in shape. Nothing in an after photo was sanded, filled or repainted, so the finish you see is the original factory paint. Use the labels above the photos to sort the gallery by the kind of damage you have.
A camera flattens a dent, so some damage looks worse in a photo than in person and some looks milder. Light, angle and paint color all change how a dent appears, and a silver or white car hides damage that a black car shows plainly. The best way to judge your own panel is to send it to us with our photo estimate guide in mind, and we will tell you honestly what paintless repair can do for it.
- Before and After: side by side photos of one panel, damaged and then repaired, where a straight reflection that bent around the dent runs true again in the after photo
- Hail: the many small round dents a storm leaves across a hood, roof or trunk lid, which our hail damage repair page explains, along with how hail damage before and after results are reached one dent at a time
- Dents and Dings: door dings, shopping cart hits and parking lot dents, where the best door ding repair results are the ones you cannot find again; read more about door ding repair
- Large Dents: creases and dents that span much of a door, fender or quarter panel, which large dent repair can often bring back while the paint is intact and the metal has not torn

Questions About Our Before and After Photos
No. Every repair we do is paintless, so the after photos show the vehicle's original factory finish. The metal is reshaped from behind the panel or pulled from the outside with glue tabs. Nothing is sanded, filled or sprayed, which is why the color and shine in the after photo match the rest of the vehicle.

The best way to know is to send us photos of your dent. We will look at them and tell you honestly what paintless repair can and cannot do for it.

Get a Photo EstimateA dent is hard to see in flat light, so it shows best where a straight line reflects across the panel. The dent bends that line, which shows its true shape and depth. In the after photo the line runs straight again. You can use the same trick when you photograph your own vehicle.

Get a Photo EstimateYes. Hail damage repair is one of our core services, and paintless repair is well suited to the many small dents a storm leaves behind. Each dent is worked individually while the original paint stays in place. When an insurance claim is involved, we work with your insurer and the claims process as needed.
