Creased Panel Repair Along Doors, Fenders and Hoods
A crease forms when metal folds rather than simply sinking. It looks like a sharp line pressed into the panel, often running along a door after a sideswipe or across a hood after a hit.
Creased panel repair takes more time than a round dent because the fold has to be opened up gently. Pushing too hard on a crease can crack the paint. The technician works along the length of the fold, easing it a little at each pass, then shapes the surrounding metal so the panel lines up with the rest of the car.
Body lines need the same care. These are the designed creases that run down the side of most vehicles, and they have to come back crisp and straight, not soft or wavy. A dent that crosses a body line is one of the harder jobs in this trade, and it is one of the places where experience shows. DentPro Solutions has repaired dents across Northeast Florida since 2013, on vehicles of every make and model.
